Systems

One of our goals is to prepare a comprehensive solution to transportation problems – in short a “system”. The following is an example of such a system. If the leaders of a certain city or region decide that they want to reduce problems with their transportation infrastructure (for example in terms of congestion or flow), to optimize it, and efficiently regulate and charge for it, they can turn to the RODOS Center, which will be able to provide them with a solution made possible using a comprehensive knowledge and technology database, tested applications and all necessary related services, tailor-made for use in that particular locality. They will thus obtain:

  • An innovative static system for rural traffic control – unlike current line management, the system will be able to work with new data and models, and it will also be much more flexible
  • A mobile system for rural traffic control – this system, unlike any other in the Czech Republic, will make it possible to regulate and handle traffic flow at road construction sites and sites where traffic is for one reason or another being interrupted. This system can be made operation entirely independent of the surrounding infrastructure through the use of the Dynamic Mobility Model with ’knowledge’ of surrounding traffic conditions
  • Centralized system for urban traffic control – the system provides ’artificial intelligence‘ to optimize the settings for traffic signaling and traffic light networks
  • System for usage-based car tolls – in addition to the design architecture of these systems, various methods for charging tolls will be developed, including all relevant inputs such as tariffs or range, making it possible to charge cars tolls based on actual road and highway use
